In the spring of 1991, the Chicago Bulls were on the precipice. Though Michael Jordan had fully entered his prime--and was joined by Scottie Pippen, Horace Grant and, finally, Phil Jackson behind the bench--the Bulls had been knocked out, in three consecutive years, by the Detroit Pistons. And in 1990-91, the core group had finished in first place for the first time and, after running through the Knicks and the 76ers in the first two rounds, were once again staring down Detroit. This time, it was different: the Bulls swept the Pistons, humiliating them to the point Isiah Thomas led them off the court before the final seconds of Game 4 ticked away. Then, in the final year of Magic Johnson's career, the Bulls easily dispatched the Lakers in five games. The celebration from that Finals win serves here as the beginning to "Spray the Champagne," a single from the forthcoming Migos debut, Yung Rich NationDue out July 31, the LP is the trio's first time on the biggest platform, and they don't seem too worried.
