We suppose you could take the view that the Jackson family has been maligned in the press--that erratic (and allegedly criminal) behavior has marred the famously musical clan at every turn. But on the other hand, you could argue that the Jacksons are so undeniable, irrefutably talented at what they do that their artistic legacy has endured despite ill will, countless smear campaigns and whatever Nancy Grace thinks she's been doing for the last 15 years. J. Cole is of the generation that might have caught their first, well, glimpse of Janet Jackson at Superbowl 38, during her infamous "wardrobe function" with Justin Timberlake. But the Roc Nation rapper is noted for his keen sense of music history, and he slides seamlessly into a remix of Jackson's new single, "No Sleeep." In the just-released video for the cut, the artists take refuge by the fire while a downpour rages outside.
