Sometimes the songs that surface online feel as if they were recorded the night before: timely pop culture references, up-to-the-minute stylistic tics, beefs, reunions, tributes. Unfortunately, "Trap House" is not one of those instances. The Rich Homie Quan contribution to DJ Double D and DJ Scooby ATL's forthcoming The Leak mixtape features Offset of the Migos; the rapper is currently incarcerated in a Georgia jail after he, Takeoff and Quavo were arrested following a college festival performance. Offset was denied bail due to his prior felonies (he was locked up when the trio shot to prominence in 2013), and a brawl in jail has exacerbated the situation. Still, his vocal inventiveness is on display here, as Quan circles ever closer to mainstream superstardom.
