Rappers and singers beg, borrow and steal to get an Aaliyah sample over without the clearances; things are different when your career is being ferried through by Timbaland himself. The late singer's former mentor gave his blessing to Tink, his new protege, to remix the classic "One in a Million." After hearkening back to The Notorious B.I.G.'s sophomore album on "Ratchet Commandments," the silkier cut is a welcome reminder of of how dynamic diverse the Chicago upstart can be. Her forthcoming debut album is sure to be a memorable one, as it should feature a bevy of heavy hitters: Timbo once previewed a song that featured the ever-elusive Andre 3000.
