It seems like Ludacris is back for the first time, again. Having recently dropped his eighth studio LP Ludaversal on March 31, the Atlanta rapper boosts the campaign by dropping the video for the LP's intro track. Luda keeps it simple with the visual rapping in a dimly lip warehouse while rocking gaudy jewelry for the short David Banner-produced song.

XXL recently chopped it up with Luda during his NYC press run and the Disturbing The Peace head honcho revealed the new album would be a mix of old and new. He also spoke on his mind state going into the project. "I’m still 100 percent extremely hungry and passionate about what got me here in the first place," he said. "I’ll never forget that and I don’t ever want there to be any misconceptions because that is a stereotype. Certain rappers start transitioning into Hollywood and they start doing movies and then it’s like they don’t give a damn about music anymore... not only do I give a damn but I’m still competing against whoever you feel is the best doing it."

Luda's new album, his first since 2010's Battle of the Sexes, is expected to move between 55-60k units in its first week on shelves when the numbers are revealed in a few days.
