As the March 31 release date for his Jerry Seinfeld collaboration, The Album About Nothing draws closer, Wale has decided to let go of his most high-profile collaboration. "The Summer League," which features both Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign, is a return to blueprints almost a decade old, Wale recalling his more contained style from 2008's Mixtape About Nothing, which vaulted him into living rooms and onto desktops and kicked off the Seinfeld synergy to begin with.

Ty Dolla $ign has done what the kids would call some excellent networking this year, contributing to the series of collaborations between West and Paul McCartney, including the ballad "Only One" and Rihanna's "FourFiveSeconds." Kanye's seventh album, So Help Me God, is expected imminently. In addition to the aforementioned songs, he has released "All Day," a blistering Allan Kingdom-featuring, grime-infused cut, and has performed two songs featuring Vic Mensa, including "Wolves," which was premiered at the launch party for Kanye's Adidas line.

Check out "The Summer League" below, and check out some behind-the-scenes footage:
