The blizzard was disappointing, but Chinx is here to make up for it. "Dope House," off of last year's Cocaine Riot 5, has finally received the video treatment. With Jadakiss in tow, Chinx hits the streets to make people respect his bona fides--hit him if you need the fix. A Boston Bruins jersey is a risky wardrobe choice for New York City, but the message is awfully clear: When you're with Chinx, you're okay.

The sparse track is an unending crescendo, more similar to Bobby Shmurda's surprise hit "Hot Nigga" than to most singles that work in contemporary radio formats. Nevertheless, "Dope House" is relentless, a breathless manifesto that runs the gambit of drug dealing predicates in less than three minutes. Chinx (formerly Chinx Drugz) is best known for being one of French Montana's close friends and collaborators; similar to French, Chinx is a tabula rasa of sorts, a blank slate onto which listeners can project their spin on the drug dealing fantasy. The generalities are offset nicely by Jadakiss' specificity. The legendary versesmith simply does not suffer fools, and he imparts wisdom left and right on the song.

Speaking of the currently incarcerated Bobby Shmurda, Chinx last year collaborated with Mr. "Bobby Bitch" and his cohort Rowdy Rebel on the single "Bodies."
