Lou Phelps is finally providing fans with his own individual sound, as he's released a brand new tape called 001: Experiments. The Canadian rapper is representing where he's from hard on the new project, which was exclusively produced by his Polaris prize-winning older brother Kaytranada.

The two former Celestics members follow up the sounds of their previous work on their 2014 project Supreme Laziness with this newly-released tape, which finds both musicians in their signature elements. While Phelps, who used to be known as Louie, provides some fast-paced and conversation-worthy lyrics, Kaytranada comes in to spread some diverse instrumentals all over the project, including strings, keys and all of the bass you could want. 001: Experiments could easily become a soundtrack for the summer, and we can only hope there are some visuals to come for some of the rising fan favorites.

Features on the project include Bishop Nehru, Innanet James and Kallitechnis. The Montreal MC is working hard to become a staple in the underground scene, and most recently teamed up with Kaytra and CJ Flemings for "My Forte" last month. He also released his Key!-assisted anthem "Rent Is Due" last year in April, which was produced by Planet Giza and Kaytranada.
