Pharrell and Justin Timberlake are back in the studio. Yes, the duo that brought us early '00s hits like "Señorita" and "Rock Your Body" are back.

Though chatter of JT's first album in three years has been going around for months, Timberlake and Williams sat down for a joint interview with Variety recently (Nov. 1) to starting promoting the upcoming project. Skateboard P had no problem dropping a couple jewels from their studio sessions.

"Songwise, I think we’ve got a good solid six that are like, ‘Whoa, what was that? Play that again.’ I would pay Justin a huge compliment to say he’s just discovering who he is now,” said Pharrell.

P broke down why JT's new album is set to be his best by comparing the work to something of a Photoshopped masterpiece.

“For the biggest pop stars in the world, the place where they have the most trouble is honesty," explained Pharrell. "It’s hard for them to know that the beauty of a record, the sweetest spot in the song, is where they show vulnerability. Because there’s a formulaic sort of vulnerability, like, ‘Baby, I can’t sleep without you …’ and that’s not really it. But if you’re able to really screenshot your own vulnerability, and frame it properly, and color-correct it, then it becomes something that every human can relate to. And I think Justin is in the place where he’s mastering that right now.”

Back in April, Justin was guest star on Pharrell and Chad Hugo's Beats 1 OTHERtone radio show along with Tyler The Creator and with Tyler being a huge fan of the duo, he asked about the status of JT's album, to which they answered in was in the "infancy stage".

Back in 2002, Pharrell worked on Justin's breakout solo album Justified, garnering writing and producer credits on seven of the album's 13 tracks. What kind of musical magic are we in for 14 years later?
