Pharrell was a guest star on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon last night (Apr. 1).

The pair took the audience on a trip through the '80s, playing the roles of R&B duo Afro & Deziak as they reminisced about American Power HourIn the flashback, the two perform their singles "Girl I’m Gonna Get You In The Mood,” “Girl I Wanna Give You What I Got” and “Girl.” There's a recurring theme here. The clips are hilarious, thanks to their funky, colorful get ups and crazy lyrics. Fallon also gets a little carried away with the dance moves. Check out the segment above.

Pharrell confirms he's working on a new album with Missy Elliott. Not too much is known about the project but that she's been in the studio with Timbaland (and also Pharrell). The Virginia product called into Shade 45 in February to share the news that she’s been cooking up something with Timbo. It's been a pretty nice year for Missy every since she performed at Super Bowl XLIX. While on Fallon, Skateboard P dished on the artists he's currently working with, including Misdemeanor. Pharrell sounds excited about the upcoming venture as he praises Missy's creativity. "I didn't know that all those video concepts were hers. I'm so proud of her. That's Virginia," he said. Check out the clip below.

After the “Blurred Lines” trial with Marvin Gaye’s family, the super producer spoke out about the verdict, saying “The verdict handicaps any creator out there who is making something that might be inspired by something else."
