It's safe to say that Pharrell has been killing it over the past year and a half.

From his hit collaboration with Daft Punk on “Get Lucky,” to the success of his most recent Gold certified album, G I R L, you would be hard pressed to name someone who's had a better run that the “Happy” musician over the past year and a half. And now we have some news that may add to Pharrell's hot streak. Last night (Sept 11), at a concert in London, N.E.R.D members Shay Haley and Pharrell both hinted that we may be getting some new material from the Virginia bred trio of consisting of Pharrell, Shay, and Chad Hugo. “It feels good to be back in London,” said Haley while on stage with Pharrell. When we released our first album back in 2001 and first crossed the Atlantic, this was the first place to embrace us. You're gonna like this shit we release,” he continued. Pharrell then pinpointed the fact that Haley had mentioned new material. “There will always an N.E.R.D,” he said. “I'm happy to be a nerd; the bullies lost, the nerds win.”

N.E.R.D last released material back in 2010, with their album entitled Nothing. Let's hope this new music from N.E.R.D comes sooner rather than later.
