Ahead of this year's Black History Month, Jordan Brand unveils a brand new Air Jordan 1 silhouette paying homage to the Pan-African flag.

Set to release at the top of February, the 2018 Air Jordan 1 BHM sneaker will feature a full Flyknit construction upper with hits of green, red and black covering the upper of the sneakers. With metallic gold accents complementing the sneakers tongue and shoe lace tips, the shoes are rounded out by a white midsole that sits atop of a black, red and green outsole.

In addition, the lightweight shoe will feature the date of Nov. 22, 2016, to honor the day Michael Jordan was rewarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom.

Nike and Jordan Brand's annual BHM collection release has become a sneaker collection that many sneakerheads highly anticipate. Along with this year's Air Jordan 1 Flyknit sneaker, Nike will launch a number of BHM-inspired sneakers that'll release all through the month of February.

The Air Jordan 1 BHM Flyknit shoes will release on Feb. 1, at select Nike retailers and accounts for a suggested price of $180.
