Another week, another new episode of Hip-Hop Moments of ClarityXXL's weekly podcast breaking down the latest breaking news in hip-hop.

Today (Dec. 13), Fat Joe and Dre stop by to sit down with this week's hosts XXL's Editor-in-Chief, Vanessa Satten, veteran journalist Shaheem Reid, hip-hop entrepreneur, Rahman Dukes. Joe and Dre's new album, Family Ties, was released last Friday (Dec. 7).

With hip-hop heavily mourning the loss of Juice Wrld after his passing less than one week ago, the group gets into the young talent's legacy and the hard topic of drug use and its harmful effects. Joe says that it was his daughter who informed him of Juice's passing, and lets listeners in on the conversations about drugs that he's had with his children.

Of course, Eminem and Nick Cannon's beef was discussed as well, as it was Eminem's appearance on the Family Ties cut "Lord Above" that he reignited their issues. On the track, Em throws jabs at both Nick and his ex-wife, Mariah Carey, whom Em has previously claimed to have been romantically involved with. Joe tells Hip-Hop Moments of Clarity that "Lord Above"  is a classic and that Eminem is such a monster on the mic, he told Nick himself not to respond. (Clearly, Nick isn't taking heed to that advice.)
