Kanye West continues his unofficial cross-country tour. On Sunday (Nov. 17), he showed up at pastor Joel Osteen's Lakewood Church in Houston for an appearance so anticipated people were reselling tickets online. During his appearance, Kanye used some of his time on stage to defend the megachurch head.

Osteen has come under fire over the years for his prosperity gospel teachings and, more recently, for not making his huge place of worship available for Hurricane Harvey victims. Kanye, who has clearly formed a bond with the pastor, gave Osteen props.

"There's a lot of people in the Christian community that try to give Joel a hard time because when you turn on the radio, he just keeps telling you how good God is," Kanye said.

Osteen was ecstatic for the endorsement.

"That's good, I love that. When you got Kanye defending you, you made it," Osteen said.

The Jesus Is King rapper had a lot to say. He also condemned the music industry.

"The Devil stole all the good producers," Kanye said. "The Devil stole all the good musicians, all the good artists, all the good designers, all the good business people, and said, 'You gotta come over and work for me.' And now, the trend, the shift is going to change. Jesus has won the victory."

He added, "Now, the greatest artist God has ever created is now working for him."

Kanye's church appearance comes on the heels of him performing at the Harris County Jail in Texas.
