Dave East was scheduled to appear in Boston at Icon Nightclub on Friday (Nov. 29), however, according to the Harlem MC, he was not allowed in due to death threats called into the venue toward the rapper.

The former XXL Freshman was slated to appear at Icon along with Millyz for an afterparty. However, East hopped on his Instagram Story to share why the appearance did not take place.

"The club owner to Icon in Boston said he got 2 anonymous phone calls that they was gone shoot me tonight lol," Dave wrote in the since-deleted post. "So they ain't let me in the club. I know one thing, if a nigga gone do that he ain't calling the club telling them. Sorry to whoever came out to see me and to the owner of Icon u a bozo."

XXL has reached out to Icon Nightclub and Dave East's team for comment on the situation.
