Tyga collects a big bag.

Columbia Records has announced that Tyga, whose Offset-assisted single, "Taste" has been certified six-times platinum, has signed a multi-million dollar deal with the label. Columbia, which didn't provide a specific amount for the deal, made the announcement on Tuesday (Oct. 15). Tyga now joins a roster that includes acts like Lil Nas X, Polo G and countless more.

The multi-million dollar deal isn't the rapper's first time being signed to a major label. From the late 2000s to 2015, Tyga was a member of the Young Money and Cash Money roster alongside rhymers like Drake and Nicki Minaj. Once he left the label after a dispute in 2015, he released music independently before joining the Sony fold.

This new deal is just a small fraction of Tyga's good year. His latest studio album, Legendary, was certified gold despite not having a major label attached to it. T-Raww unleashed this project via his Last Kings Records imprint and Empire.

Legendary has accumulated more than 5 billion streams in less than six months. Tyga still remains in the Top 30 "Most Streamed Artists" on Spotify.

This announcement comes a couple of weeks after Tyga found himself at the center of gossip rumors about being spotted with his ex-girlfriend, Kylie Jenner the same day her breakup with Travis Scott made headlines. Kylie has shot down the rumors, and Tyga posted an Instagram story people believe also dismisses the rumors.
