YoungBoy Never Broke Again is behind bars no more.

On Thursday morning (Aug. 15), the Baton Rouge, La. rapper was let loose from East Baton Rouge Parish Prison where he’s been incarcerated since a judge had him detained on May 17. According to Baton Rouge, La.'s WAFB, the rapper will be placed on house arrest for 14 months and he won't be able to perform during that time period.

YoungBoy was detained nearly three months ago because a judge believes she saw him “talking trash and smack” in a threatening way in a social media video. The terms of YoungBoy's 2017 probation for a firearms charge stipulate that he isn't allowed to use social media. He was detained days after people tried to shoot him in a Sunny Isles Beach, Fla. shooting that left one 43-year-old man dead and YoungBoy's girlfriend with a shoulder wound.

Judge Bonnie Jackson, who sentenced the rapper to three years of probation and a suspended 10-year prison term for an unrelated firearms case in 2017, could fully revoke his probation and make him serve a suspended prison sentence if she determines that it was him in the video.

YoungBoy's probation hearing is scheduled for Aug. 30. See footage of YoungBoy leaving jail below.
