2 Chainz is grateful for Lil Baby after the Quality Control rapper came through in the clutch.

On Tuesday (Aug. 27), Tity Boi hit up his Instagram timeline to shout Lil Baby out for helping him recover his missing hard drive. Apparently, the storage device had gone missing and had plenty of imperative files on it. Once he got it back, 2 Chainz heralded Baby as a "real street general" for ensuring that the hard drive was returned.

"I wanna take to the time to salute and acknowledge @lilbaby_1 a real street general . Bru was able to get the hard drive back for me and @sb_skooly and I appreciate that 1thousand!!!" Chainz captioned a photo of Lil Baby.

2 Chainz didn't provide the backstory of the missing hard drive but, either way, he and his artist Skooly were overly appreciative. In the comments of his post, Skooly wrote, "One OF THE ONLY REAL NIGGAS LEFT IN DA A! no BuuShit @lilbaby_1." Baby replied with three blue heart emojis.

Lil Baby and 2 Chainz have collaborated in the past on songs like "Anyway" featuring Gucci Mane, which comes from Baby's most recent solo project Street Gossip. The prominent MC, who dropped his Rap or Go to the League album earlier this year, boasted how cool he is with Lil Baby.

"I fuck with Lil Baby, no infant (Uh), I used to make plays at the Quick Trip (I did)/ I spent a twenty on Quick Picks (Tell 'em), I run it back like a pick six (Woo)," 2 Chainz raps in his verse.
