Boosie BadAzz has officially been charged in relation to his arrest in Coweta County, Ga. back in April. The Louisiana native has been hit with two felonies.

On Saturday (Aug. 17), TMZ reported the update on the case, in which the District Attorney's Office recently rendered a ruling. Boosie faces possession of less than an ounce of marijuana and possession of a controlled substance. However, the firearms possession charge he was initially slapped with has been dropped.

As previously reported, Boosie, born Torrence Hatch Jr., was arrested along with his bodyguard, Antonio Allen, on April 8 in Newnam Ga. following a traffic stop. The rapper was riding passenger in a Dodge Charger that was witnessed weaving in and out of traffic. After smelling marijuana in the car, police conducted a search of the vehicle and discovered approximately 11 grams marijuana and a loaded 9mm handgun, more than $20,000 in cash and a vape pen with THC oil.

Both men were initially charged with possession of marijuana, possession of a schedule one drug and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime. After spending a night in jail, Boosie bonded out the following day after posting a $3,500 bail.

In other Boosie-related news, last week BadAzz went off on Instagram over being criticized for publicizing a topless pool party held at his home.
