50 Cent got some unfavorable news on Sunday (Aug. 11), when it was reported the New York Police Department had closed its investigation into the commanding officer who issued a "shoot on sight" directive during an official meeting in reference to the Queens rapper.

The news was unfavorable but expected, according to Fif, who believes the outcome is due to the police department operating like an organized group of criminals.

"I knew they were not going to do anything about this, so I stop talking about it," 50 reacted on Instagram, along with a screenshot of the report. "NYPD is hands down the toughest gang in New York. You just gotta be ready for what ever. You know the vibes."

The investigation stems from statements reportedly made by commanding officer of the 72nd Precinct in Sunset Park in Brooklyn, N.Y., Deputy Inspector Emanuel Gonzalez. Back in June 2018, Gonzalez reportedly told a group of officers to "shoot on sight" in reference to 50 Cent who was to be in attendance at an NYPD sanctioned boxing match.

50 and Gonzalez had prior issues, as the cop filed an aggravated harassment complaint against 50 in May 2018, after claiming the rapper had threatened him on Instagram by using the phrase "Get the strap" in reference to Gonzalez shaking down one of the rap mogul's beloved nightclubs.

After the investigation was made public, 50 expressed fear for his life and contemplated suing.

“I’m afraid for my life, I haven’t been able to sleep since I heard of this," he announced on social media. "The cops never notified me of the threat. I’m closing all my business in New York. I may have to sue the city.”

In other 50-related news, his beef with Floyd Mayweather is back bubbling. While 50 was in Las Vegas for a show over the weekend, the two entertainers traded shots on Instagram.
