Blueface is dealing with multiple legal cases and, in at least one, he reportedly hinks race played a factor.

As previously reported, the 2019 XXL Freshman was arrested in February and charged with one count of carrying a loaded handgun. According to police, they received a call about a group of men wearing expensive jewelry in an area known for robberies. Police dispatched to the scene reportedly for the safety of the men. When they arrived, authorities say the group, including Blueface, tossed weapons and ran. On Friday (July 26), TMZ reported the rapper and his legal team are claiming the police profiled him and his crew.

According to legal docs obtained by the celebrity news site, Blueface's lawyers have called into question the motives of the officers as possibly racist in nature. They allege the officers have a "history of writing false police reports." The Los Angeles rapper's lawyer contends his client was not in possession of a firearm and was only picked on by police because he appeared to look nervous after authorities on the scene heard the sound of weapons hitting the concrete when they approached.

Blueface's manager Wack 100 has proclaimed his client's innocence from the jump, saying Blueface never had a gun and surveillance footage would prove him not to be guilty.

The "Thotiana" rapper has another legal issue to deal with. Next month, he is set to stand trial for the highway shooting he was involved in back in November 2018.
