Things got a little heated between The Game and legendary DJ Mister Cee during an exchange on Instagram.

On Tuesday (June 25), DJ Premier shared a clip of Game's LA Leakers freestyle on his IG page, praising him for his lyricism—particularly because he went in over a beat that Preemo himself had made. In the comments, Mister Cee appeared less than impressed.

"Sorry Preem But My Dude @mastaacepics Made A Song Wit Ed OG Called "Little Young" Back In 2009," Cee wrote. "Same Concept."

Naturally, Game didn't take too kindly to the comment and quickly clapped back by using a homophobic insult referencing Cee's sexuality.

"@djmistercee all that 🍆 in ya azz got your brain clouded," Game responded. "#GoneSomewhereSausageDigester."

Eventually, Game realized he may have gone too far and offered up an apology... to Premier.

"@djpremier you know this is not my character so apologies for going off in your comments," Game later commented.

In related news, Game recently made headlines in the renewed debate about reparations. Talking to TMZ cameras after a listening party for his forthcoming album, he shared an updated version of what he thinks former slaves should receive.

"It looks like 40 aces and Lamborghini. Forty acres and a Lambo," he said. "I don't know what it's gon' do [to the economy]. It don't matter what it does because the country was built on the backs of, you know, slavery."
