Lil Reese closes out a legal battle from 2018.

According to a report The Chicago Tribune published on Thursday (June 6), the Normal Backwrds rapper, who was born Tavares Taylor, pleaded guilty to a marijuana possession charge after prosecutors agreed to downgrade the charge from a felony to a misdemeanor. Court documents reportedly show that Supa Vultures artist agreed to be on probation for a minimum of one year and to pay a $584 fine.

The charge stems from a raid the FBI conducted at Reese's home on the 1300 block of South Wabash Avenue in May 2018. During the raid, Chicago police and an FBI task force served a search warrant for his apartment and discovered about $2,200 worth of marijuana, a digital scale and a stack of cash.

This case wasn't the first time Reese had trouble with law enforcement. In 2013, the rapper was arrested for a separate drug charge after cops found four grams of weed and nearly $2,090 on him.

Reese, who released a new song called "No Face No Case" earlier this week, has yet to address this matter publicly.
