Blueface had a brush with the law on Friday (June 28) when he was detained by police following a traffic stop.

The 2019 XXL Freshman was pulled over while driving a black Porsche in Los Angeles for exceeding the speed limit in a residential area. Police on the scene made the rapper exit the vehicle and handcuffed him. Video of the traffic stop, obtained by TMZ, shows the rapper sitting on the curb with his hands cuffed behind his back. According to the celebrity news site, 'Face was eventually released with a warning and avoided being slapped with a ticket.

The Cali artist is no stranger to the law. In February, he was formally charged with carrying a loaded handgun. The charges stem from an arrest earlier that month where police accused the rapper and his crew of tossing away their guns and trying to flee when officers arrived to a location where the entourage was hanging out.

Last November, he was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon after he chased down and reportedly shot at a man who robbed him at a gas station.

Following the success of his hit single "Thotiana," the Cash Money West artist is currently prepping his new Buss Down EP. The offering is slated to drop on July 5.
