The 2019 BET Awards have arrived at the Microsoft Theatre in Los Angeles, and hip-hop is in the building tonight (June 23). From Cardi B, Lil Nas X, Meek Mill, Migos, DJ Khaled, DaBaby and City Girls bringing their performance energy to the stage to the likes of Juice Wrld, Megan Thee Stallion, J. Cole, 21 Savage, Nicki Minaj and more being nominated, there will be plenty of memorable moments going down. But first, the red carpet.

This year, in honor of the late Nipsey Hussle, who passed away in March, BET turned the red carpet blue—the color that was synonymous with the rapper during his lifetime. The bawse Rick Ross, 2019 XXL Freshman Rico Nasty, Detroit's own Tee Grizzley and 2017 XXL Freshman PnB Rock are just some of the rappers who graced the blue carpet before heading in for the show.

Ross kept it cool in a silky fresh button-down shirt, which he left open to flex with his tattoos and an iced-out chain. Rico Nasty donned a shoulder-baring all-white dress, fly iridescent green shades and sleek blonde hair. Tee Grizzley and PnB Rock decided to hit the blue carpet together, both rocking designer jackets and all-black ’fits.

Polo G and Lil Tay, whose "Pop Out" has climbed to No. 11 on the Billboard Hot 100, cheery Lizzo, O.T. Genasis and more also stepped on the carpet in style.
