After teasing his upcoming album over the past few months, Ty Dolla $ign finally gearing up to release his first single, which includes a verse from J. Cole.

Last night (May 15), the California crooner uploaded a brief preview of his new song "Purple Emoji" featuring the Dreamville Records founder on his Instagram timeline. In the video, their song plays in the background while Ty and Cole are posted up inside the studio. The track, which was produced by Aussie beatmaker MXXWLL, is set to hit streaming services everywhere next week.

"First song off my new album drops next week," Ty wrote in the caption. "My brada @realcoleworld and I came up with this jam a few months back in NYC and off top I knew it was the first one I wanted y’all to hear. It’s called PURPLE EMOJI . Produced by my brada from down under @mxxwllmusic #teamdolla it’s officially DOLLA$IGN $ZN again. ❤️"

Over the past year, Ty Dolla $ign has collaborated with heavyweight artists like Kanye West, Kid Cudi and 2 Chainz. Ty also teamed up with Jeremih for their joint album Mih-Ty.

Ty Dolla Sign is also expected to appear on Kayne West's album Yandhi. During an interview on YouTube's The Lunch Table, engineer Kevin Celik revealed some gems about Kanye's upcoming album and claimed that Nicki Minaj and Ty Dolla $ign are featured on Kanye's new song, "New Body."

"There's a song on the album called 'New Body' and Nicki Minaj is on it," Celik revealed. "It's Kanye, Nicki and Ty Dolla $ign [and] it's Kim K-inspired for sure."
