Since the death of Nipsey Hussle, The Game has been consistently paying tribute to the late rapper on his Instagram account.

On Wednesday (May 1), the Compton, Calif. native shared on his IG page a heartfelt poem dedicated to Nipsey’s girlfriend Lauren London. The Game titled his poem “Love Never Dies” and in it, he writes about the couple’s everlasting bond that can never be undone even after death. He writes:

"Soulmates are born
Sometimes worlds apart
As they grow, in life
there’s a magnetic energy
that pulls them closer & closer
to one another
This love knows no color
It is blind
When you find this love
there’s a sign
They say you can miss it if you blink
It might pass you by if you think
If by chance the universe aligns
with those two hearts in the same place at the same time
Then & only then will you know
that love in its purest form
has a glow
It has a touch, it has a feel
it can’t be undone
it is God’s will
Just as we’re lucky to have the gift of life
finding a soulmate is living twice
& though one day the physical must part
this love does not live in the dark
2 souls forever bonded & unbreakable seal
An everlasting strength
A heart at the peak of eternal bliss
The feeling you were born to know
The life you were born to share
The love that can never be replaced
as you were created as a pair
You & Nip found one another
As some soulmates never do
Now a picture in black & white
will always be “Nipsey Blue."

The Game ended his poem with the hashtags #TheMarathonContinues and #OneNipPostADayTiliFadeAway.

This poem comes over a month after the death of Nipsey Hussle, who was tragically shot and killed on March 31. A day after Nipsey's death, The Game uploaded a video of himself driving to the rapper's clothing store, The Marathon, while condemning the streets of Los Angeles.

"Driving down Slauson at 4 a.m. because I can't sleep over what happened to Nip man. Why niggas do the homie like that man," Game said as his voice began to break. "At his own muthafuckin' shop. In his own fucking hood man. He was trying to do good for these niggas man. Shit's crazy man I can't even fucking sleep man. I'm fucking disgusted by this shit man. That's how y'all do ya homie? In his own city! In his own hood! In his own place of business? that's how niggas do niggas. L.A. on some bullshit homie on me!"
