Earlier this week, BlocBoy JB found himself on the wrong end of the law for the second time in 2019 when he was arrested for a felony gun charge and drug possession. As a result of the actions allegedly taken against the rapper by authorities in the wake of his arrest, he believes police think he is a drug dealer.

JB was arrested on Thursday night (May 2) following a police raid on his Memphis home. He was subsequently charged with being a convicted felon in possession of a handgun, speeding, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of controlled substance marijuana. He has since been released from the Shelby County Jail. On Saturday (May 4), he broke his silence about the arrest via his Instagram Story.

"Police frozed my card [sic]. Took my cars and money," he wrote. "Dey tryna say Ima drug dealer. I bought everything I ever owned off show money. Wat I look like when I get paid for shows."

The rapper's lawyer claims he was not the target of the raid in which 20 people were detained.

This is the second time in a year the former XXL Freshman's home has been raided by police. They also searched his home in July 2018. On that occasion, they reportedly uncovered three black digital scales, a Glock 23 .40 cal, a Ruger P94DC 9mm, a Glock 22 .40 cal, a Galil Acc Sar, an Eagle Arms AR-15, Glock 23 .40 cal, several rounds of ammunition and a mason jar filled with 45.9 grams of marijuana. After a warrant was issued for his arrest in February, he turned himself in to police to face charges of possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia, a convicted felon in possession of a handgun and theft of property.
