Asian Da Brat Says Her Sister Was Shot

Violence has apparently affected the family of Asian Da Brat.

On Wednesday (May 22), the Dallas rapper used her Twitter account to reveal that her younger sister had been shot the previous night. "My lil sister got shot lastnight 💔😢," wrote the rapper formerly known as Asian Doll. A short while later, she added a cautionary message and another tweet that could be about what's happened to her sister.

"If you make it out the hood don’t go back 💯," the 1017 Eskimo signee wrote in one subsequent tweet. "The devil tryna break me he tryna take everybody I love away from me💙," she wrote in another.

The details regarding her sister's purported shooting are scarce, but fans have been sending the rapper their best wishes since she announced the news. "Prayers for you and your family 💙," wrote one fan. "Keep praying sus 💜 you’re not alone," said another.
