Police have arrested Nipsey Hussle murder suspect, Eric Holder, CBS Los Angeles reports.

The outlet reported that the 29-year-old Holder was taken into custody on Tuesday afternoon (April 2), which is just about two days after Nipsey was shot and killed in front of his clothing store, The Marathon, on Sunday (March 31). He was reportedly captured in the L.A. suburb of Bellflower sometime before 1:30 p.m. PST.

After news of the suspect's arrest broke, the LAPD headquarters Twitter account confirmed that Holder had been arrested. "Eric Holder, the suspected killer of Nipsey Hussle, has been arrested and is in police custody. Thank you to both our community for the heightened awareness/vigilance, and our partners at @LASDHQ," tweeted the account.

In a statement released earlier today, the Los Angeles Police Department reported that Holder reportedly walked up to Hussle and two men who were standing outside of Nipsey's store and shot them multiple times. Holder then ran off and jumped in a 2016 Chevrolet Cruz in the nearby alley. Holder and the unidentified female driver managed to get away, but now police reportedly have him in custody.

At a press conference earlier today, LAPD Chief Michel R. Moore explained what the LAPD believes to be the root of the Nipsey killing.

"At this point of our investigation based on witness statements and the background of those that we've identified, we believe this to be a dispute between Mr. Hussle and Mr. Holder," Moore said at the conference. "I'm not going to go over the conversation, but it appears to be a personal matter between the two."
