Although Lil Wayne released Tha Carter V last year, it looks as if he ready to deliver more music to his fans.

On Tuesday (April 30), Weezy jumped on his Instagram Story and posted an emoji of a coffin. The image has caused his diehard fans to speculate that Wayne could possibly be dropping off his Funeral project, one he first teased nearly three years ago.

Tunechi first revealed plans for his Funeral project during a 2016 appearance on The Nine Club podcast that he had a project called Funeral coming out real soon. The rap veteran didn’t offer any additional information at the time.

“Just make sure they know that Funeral is coming soon,” Wayne said during the interview. "That’s my music. Get your roses ready. I don’t have a release date, but I have a whole bunch of good news coming soon. If you’re a Wayne fan, I know we’ve been going through a lot of tough times right now, but if you are a Wayne fan, we about to hold our heads high soon."

There's no word on when Wayne plans to release the Funeral project, but fans are eager to hear new music from him. You can currently see Weezy F. Baby in 2 Chainz's latest video for "2 Dollar Bill."
