03 Greedo Announces First Album Since Prison Sentence

03 Greedo is currently behind bars but he continues to push forward with his musical career. The Watts, Calif. rapper recently announced he will be putting out his first album since starting his prison bid later this month. He will be teaming up with Cali beat maker Mustard on the new project.

Announced on Friday (March 15), the new album is titled Still Summer in the Projects. Mustard will serve as the producer and executive producer behind the LP. Featuring 11 new bangers, the offering will contain guest appearances from YG, Shoreline Mafia and Trilliano. The new single off the forthcoming release dropped on Friday. Titled "Wasted," the song contains an assist from YG.

Driven by a slapper from Mustard that utilizes boastful chords, 03 Greedo flexes an infectious chorus. "How much it cost for me to see you half naked?/Only came us out the house to have a banquet," he raps. "How much it cost to have some brain while a lane switch?/Fuck it, when you got the change, money ain't shit/Ay ay, bitch wasted, fuck it, I'm wasted."

YG doesn't hold any punches on his verse. "How much it cost for you to fuck, bitch?/How much it cost for you to suck dick?" he raps. "Ay, that pussy smell like you been at the club, bitch/House in the hills, I got a tub, bitch."

Still Summer in the Projects is slated to drop on March 29. Greedo has been steadily pumping out new material following his incarceration. Two weeks after he turned himself in, he dropped the joint mixtape with Nef The Pharaoh titled Porter2Grape.

Last July, Greedo turned himself in to serve a 20-year sentence at the Potter County Detention Center in Amarillo, Texas, stemming from a drug trafficking and gun arrest from 2016. According to the latest report, he is eligible for parole next year.
