Young Nudy is coming home.

On Tuesday (Feb. 19), the Atlanta Journal Constitution reported that Nudy has been granted $100,000 bond after being arrested on gang and assault charges on Sun., Feb. 3. The Atlanta rapper was arrested at the same time his fellow rapper 21 Savage was detained by ICE.

Speaking with AJC, Nudy's lawyer W. Scott Smith reaffirmed the rapper's innocence. “We believe that Young Nudy is innocent and this is a case of mistaken identity,” Smith said. “Young Nudy's legal team is working closely with law enforcement to ensure this case does not get blown out of proportion.”

Nudy's arrest stemmed from a 2017 criminal warrant that claimed he'd shot a man twice. It was that alleged crime that led to his being charged with the aforementioned gang and aggravated assault charges.

While this case isn't over—DeKalb County authorities say the investigation is ongoing—Nudy's lawyer is happy with today's outcome.

“We are very pleased with the result. We are looking forward to getting him out so he can be with his family," Smith explained.  “He is looking forward to getting back out on tour and to continue to have this incredible success performing."

Nudy should be out of jail very soon.
