After shaming Gucci for their Blackface controversy, T.I. is now aiming to protest another iconic fashion brand who released an offensive garment. On Tuesday (Feb. 19), Tip hit up Instagram to add Burberry to his list of luxurious clothing brands that he's boycotting after the brand unveiled an extremely controversial garment that's been labeled the noose hoodie. According to the Georgia rapper, the latest debacle in the fashion world is no coincidence.

"These aren’t coincidences," Tip said in the caption for his post featuring a screenshot of Burberry's apology. "#🖕🏽Gucci #🖕🏽Prada #🖕🏽Moncler And now.... #🖕🏽BURBERRY."

Tip's call to boycott Burberry comes after the U.K.-based brand issued an apology for including a noose on one of their brand-new hoodies. Burberry debuted the controversial piece from their autumn-winter collection during London Fashion Week on Sunday night (Feb. 17). The hoodie features a noose-like string in the front, and that was something people took to be an allusion to lynchings and or suicide. Burberry CEO Marco Gobbetti and Creative Director Riccardo Tisci have both apologized and confirmed that the garment was removed from their stores.

In an industry where high-class clothing brands are praised in the studio and on the red carpet, hip-hop has been quite vocal about boycotting luxury apparel companies they believe don't have their social interests in mind. Along with T.I., other artists like Soulja Boy, Waka Flocka Flame and Jean Grae have also denounced brands like Gucci, Prada and Moncler for selling racially insensitive clothing and accessories.
