Prosecutors want YoungBoy Never Broke Again's probation rescinded.

During a Friday (Feb. 22) probation review hearing in Baton Rouge, La., Assistant District Attorney April Leon asked a judge to revoke NBA YoungBoy's three-year probation and order him to serve out his suspended 10-year prison sentence stemming from his November 2016 drive-by shooting case.

"It has become apparent to the state that the defendant has chosen to not abide by the conditions imposed by this Honorable Court," ADA Leon wrote in a probation revocation motion filed Thursday (Feb. 21). Baton Rouge's The Advocate reported the news earlier today.

Leon said the 19-year-old rapper was a “threat to society and the safety of others" during a hearing last April.

This development comes up after the rapper was arrested for disorderly conduct in Georgia on Feb. 11. That incident, which is probably the one Leon is alluding to, involved YoungBoy allegedly getting into an altercation with the housekeeping staff that entered his room at an Atlanta hotel. Another woman, Starr Thigpen, was also arrested. YoungBoy was released the same day.

YoungBoy's attorney, James Manasseh, said that his client did nothing wrong in Atlanta and there is no reason to rescind his probation. “An arrest is simply an allegation. Our position is he didn’t do anything wrong,” he told The Advocate.
