J. Cole is rounding up the squad once again. On Sunday night (Jan. 6), the KOD rapper used his Instagram account to announce the coming of Revenge of the Dreamers III, a compilation album that will include appearances from his Dreamville Records roster.

For the announcement, Cole posted the first of what will be many invitations to the recording sessions for the third installment of Dreamville's popular series. He says the sessions will take place, which is obviously the home of Dreamville signees like 2018 XXL Freshman  J.I.D and EarthGang. At the bottom of the invite we can see that the recording sessions for the LP will last from Jan. 6 to Jan. 16. A release date for the project has yet to be revealed.

Soon after Cole posted his invite, other members of the Dreamville crew and their affiliates began posting their customized posters. The album will feature Ari Lennox, Bas, Cozz, EarthGang, Omen, and J.I.D. Producers like Dreamville's go-to beat maker Elite, DZL and more will also lend a helping hand for the project along with other special guests like Reason of TDE, who was motivated by Cole to begin rapping, as well as K-Camp and Rapper Big Pooh.

The announcement comes about a week after J. Cole was spotted chilling with Drake in L.A. The video, which was posted before New Year's Eve, shows both rappers sitting in a flossy Rolls Royce Phantom.

It's been five years since Drizzy and Cole linked up to make a record together. After the video went viral, fans believe the artists could be cooking up a new collab. While the chances of a new Drake and Jermaine song appearing on the compilation album don't appear to be that large, people can hope.
