A$AP Bari avoids jail time. Earlier today (Jan. 3), the A$AP Mob member stood trial for a sexual assault case he was hit with after slapping a woman on her behind and demanding oral sex from her in a video that surfaced July 2017. According to the U.K.'s Mirror, the fashion designer has pleaded guilty to one count of sexual assault.

According to the news outlet, Bari has avoided jail time by agreeing to pay the woman £2,000 ($2,268) and being subjected to a restraining order. He is now prohibited from making any contact with the victim, someone he'd filed a lawsuit against for defamation and civil extortion back in August 2018.

Bari had previously denied the charges against him back when he was hit with them last June. It was at that time that Bari's attorney said Bari's accuser had brought the sexual assault charges into the fold for the sake of money.

"This is made up for the purpose of improving the chance of success in a civil action in the United States for $1 million,"  Gideon Cammerman QC said last June. "The complainant filed it two days before she made her witness statement to the Metropolitan police in the UK. What was on the video was an alleged slap to the bottom."

Bari has yet to speak on his guilty plea.
