Trippie Redd has already collaborated with plenty of rap game luminaries in his career, and it looks like he wants to add Lil Uzi Vert to that list. He said as much in an Instagram story he uploaded on Wednesday (Dec. 26).

In the post, the “Topanga” rapper offered up some lofty praise for Uzi while saying he wants to collaborate with the 2016 XXL Freshman. For the story, Trippie wrote, “I wanna do a song with @liluzivert that nigga a goat.”

Obviously, that's a big compliment, but it's hard to say Uzi doesn't deserve a lot of props. While the 24-year-old hasn't dropped a lot of music this year, his latest single, “New Patek," went gold. Before that, his 2017 single "XO Tour Llif3" was certified several times platinum. So yeah, like we said. Well-deserved.

As far as imagining the collab, it really isn't all that hard to. From the outset of Trippie's career as a burgeoning rap star, he's been compared to Uzi. While there are definitely distinct stylistic differences between the two, both have a knack for melody and have been praised for infusing emo vibes with their music.

Here's to hoping that Trippie and Uzi hit the studio in 2019.
