Lil Uzi Vert has accepted Trippie Redd's invite to hit the studio together.

Trippie has worked with a handful of artists this year like Juice Wrld and Lil Yachty but recently he said that he wants to make a song with the "XO Tour Llif3" rapper. Now, just days after the 2018 XXL Freshman called Uzi a "goat" and put his wish out into the atmosphere, the "New Patek" rapper uploaded a random photo of himself to his Instagram Story last night (Dec. 30) and made it clear that he'd be down to link with Uzi.

"@TrippieRedd I would ❤️ 2 work with you," Uzi wrote.

The news of Uzi's upcoming collaboration comes after he rapped about trying to exit his record deal in Shabazz PBG's new song "Shells." On the song, raps about trying to get out of his deal.

"Tryna figure out how I'm gonna get out my deal/I'm a bad boy, a reverend," Uzi spits. "I feel like I'm Mase/Your bitch with me but she got to leave by eight."

The bar might allude to his potential frustration with his forthcoming Eternal Atake not being out yet. There hasn’t been any confirmation on Uzi looking for other options or possibly leaving his label to become a free agent. However, the 24-year-old artist who signed with Atlantic Records and disapproval with DJ Drama's Generation Now imprint a few years ago, has voiced his displeasure with his label situation in the past.

Hopefully, Lil Uzi Vert's intended collaboration with Trippie Redd lands on his next project. Check out Uzi's message for the "Topanga" rapper below.
