After turning himself into authorities back in June, 03 Greedo was facing a 20-year sentence after being convicted of gun and drug trafficking charges from a 2016 arrest. Yesterday (Dec. 2), it was reported that Greedo will be eligible for parole in 2020.

According to Greedo's inmate entry at the Texas Department of Criminal Justice's website, he will be eligible for parole beginning on Sept. 19, 2020. His original scheduled release date is set for May 31, 2038. Greedo's charges stem from a 2016 arrest in Texas. At that time, Greedo and his friend were pulled over near Amarillo, Texas and were found to be riding with four pounds of methamphetamine and two stolen pistols.

In other Greedo-related news, he hasn't let his incarceration stop him from releasing content. Back in July, a music video for "Fortnite"  was released on the Los Angeles rapper's behalf. In the Laka Films-directed video, Greedo becomes a real-life character in the game.

Prior to turning himself in, Greedo released God Level, his 27-track project, which featured guest appearances from Lil Uzi Vert, Yhung T.O., Key! and Yung Bans.

Congrats to 03 Greedo who will be on parole sooner than expected.
