The sudden death of Kim Porter, the ex of music mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs, has all who knew her in mourn mode. On Friday (Nov. 23), Lil' Kim posted a touching tribute to the mother of Puff's children on social media.

As someone who is close to the Combs family, Kim had a personal relationship with Porter. She shared her feelings of loss on Instagram along with a series of photos of Kim and the Combs family.

"I’ve tried to write something so many times, but I can’t put into words how special @ladykp was," Kim starts. "Oh my Kim. There are so many memories with the family and although you were talented at many things, you had one of the major roles and held down the family like none other. With today being about family, I can’t help but honor this amazing woman and the family. Hold your family tight a little longer today. I will always be there for my extended family. Thanks for all of your prayers ❤️ Rest in Paradise Kim Porter 🙏🏽."

As previously reported, Porter died at the age of 47 on Nov. 15. She is believed to have suffered a cardiac arrest at her Los Angeles home after a lengthy bout with flu-like symptoms. Diddy shared his own heartfelt social media memorial for his former partner in the days following her death.

"For the last three days I’ve been trying to wake up out of this nightmare. But I haven’t," Diddy wrote on IG. "I don’t know what I’m going to do without you baby. I miss you so much. Today I’m going to pay tribute to you, I’m going to try and find the words to explain our unexplainable relationship. We were more than best friends, we were more than soulmates. WE WERE SOME OTHER SHIT!! And I miss you so much. Super Black Love 🖤."

On Nov. 18, Puff hosted a private memorial for Porter at his Bel-Air, Calif. home that was attended by family and friends.
