J.I.D is in full-on album mode. After celebrating his birthday this Halloween (Oct. 31), the Dreamville rapper confirmed a release date for his next album, sharing that DiCaprio 2 will be released on Nov. 26. Now that some of the formalities are out of the way, J.I.D is now focusing on the music.

During an Instagram Live session Thursday night (Nov. 1), the 2018 XXL Freshman previewed new heat, confirming the unreleased tune is titled “Off Deez," which features his label boss, J. Cole.

Judging from the preview of the track, which J.I.D was generous to preview 30 seconds of, J.I.D and Cole go all the way off. In the small clip we're provided, both artists pack as much solid wordplay into their distinctively intense flows as possible.

While we don’t yet have a release date for “Off Deez,” the single will appear on the forthcoming album later this month. Should be great.

Recently, J.I.D joined the likes of Travis Scott, Ty Dolla $ign and others to pay tribute to his late friend and collaborator Mac Miller. The performance, dubbed Mac Miller: A Celebration of Life, took place in Los Angeles and doubled as the launch of Mac Miller’s Circles foundation.
