After turning himself in to police yesterday (Nov. 7), 6ix9ine's manager Shotti was officially indicted for first-degree and second-degree assault after a New York City shooting that took place as Tekashi was set to celebrate his avoiding jail time for his sexual misconduct case last month.

According to TMZ, Shotti, who was born Kifano Jordan, was formally charged with gang assault and criminal possession of a weapon after he allegedly struck West Coast music executive Elliott Grainge's bodyguard in the head with a chair. The violent assault prompted the armed bodyguard to fire two bullets, one of which hit another member of the Tr3yway crew.

The altercation happened a few weeks ago just hours after 6ix9ine avoided jail time and was sentenced to four years of probation. The "Fefe" rapper went to have dinner with the 10K Projects exec at Philippe Chow in Manhattan when Shotti and other members of 6ix9ine's entourage pulled up to the restaurant. After Grainge's security denied them entry, Shotti allegedly escalated the situation further by striking the bodyguard with a chair, and uttered a verbal threat.

"I'm going to violate you both with gunshots," Shotti allegedly told the guards.

6ix9ine's manager is currently in custody while the other crew members who were involved were also charged with gang assault. Meanwhile, the Brooklyn rapper dipped from the scene before the altercation transpired, and has been cleared of any wrongdoing.

The "Gummo" rapper is doing the most to stay out of trouble before his debut album Dummy Boy drops later this month. Yesterday, Tekashi dropped the official cover art and finally confirmed the release date. The project is set to drop Nov. 23.
