Brooklyn-bred rapper and actor Stro is beginning to see his hard work pay off in new ways, officially starting the next chapter of his career as part of the Mass Appeal Records family.

On Tuesday (Oct. 9), the 22-year-old rhymer was able to share the good news, confirming that he has officially inked a deal with Nas’ label. In addition to announcing the signing, Stro also revealed that his new EP, Nice 2 Meet You, Again, is slated to drop on Oct. 19.

"Every project I released up until this point was made from the perspective of a kid trying to be the best rapper," Stro said, speaking about the inspiration behind his burgeoning career. “#N2MYA was made from the perspective of a young man trying got be the best example. As a product of the culture, I feel like it's so much missing right now. Rather than making songs about what's wrong with the culture, I focus on creating the vibes I want to see more in the culture."

On top of announcing the project, which will double as his Mass Appeal debut, Stro also shared an official trailer for the forthcoming EP.

In April 2017, Stro released his debut album, Grade A Frequencieswhich included features from Jordan Bratton, Elbee Thrie, Marco Mckinnis and Nathaniel. He also made his acting debut, appearing on FOX's TV series, Red Band Society. Now, with his new deal and upcoming project, it’s clear Stro is focused on keeping the momentum.
