Post Malone and Swae Lee are making sure they end 2018 on a strong footing. Taking to Twitter, each rapper shared the news that their forthcoming collaboration, “Sunflower,” is set to appear on the soundtrack for the upcoming Marvel animated film Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.

Last week (Oct. 8), during an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Post previously gave fans a short teaser of the song, making no mention of the Rae Sremmurd member’s involvement at the time. Now that the cat’s out of the bag, fans are eager to hear the full version, with each rapper sharing 15-second clips that preview their respective contributions.

A release date has not yet been announced, though Lee mentioned it’s “COMING SOON !!!!!,” in a social media post. Fans can at least take solace in the fact that the accompanying Shameik Moore-starring animated motion picture is set to be released in theaters on Dec. 14.

“Unless I stuck by ya/You’re a sunflower/I think your love would be too much/Or you’ll be left in the dust,” Post can be heard singing in the trailer.

Meanwhile, Lee’s contribution appears to be a bit more somber, with his teaser revealing lyrics that discuss possible heartbreak, “Calling it quits now/Baby I’m a wreck.”

Earlier this summer, Lee and his fellow Rae Sremmurd collaborator Slim Jxmmi released their three-part album Sr3mm, which featured two solo chapters, Swaecation and Jxmtroduction. As for Post Malone, he's been gearing up to try his talents at acting, set to make his on-screen debut in the upcoming Netflix filmWonderland, alongside Mark Wahlberg.
