Mac Miller's tragic death has clearly had a significant impact on his ex-girlfriend Ariana Grande. According to new reports, it may have been one of the main reasons for her recent breakup with her fiance, comedian Pete Davidson.

News of Grande and Davidson splitting started to make its rounds over the weekend, but apparently things had been rough for the couple since Mac Miller passed in early September. Sources close to the couple tell TMZ that the pop star has been in a dark place since Mac died. She recently canceled tour dates citing the fact that she needed more time to heal. The singer has since decided she can't totally invest in her relationship with Pete or marrying the Saturday Night Live star at this point in time, so they called it quits.

Grande has expressed her feelings about the Pittsburgh rapper's death on multiple occasions since his passing. Last month, she paid tribute to Mac on social media with a heartfelt post.  "I adored you from the day i met you when i was nineteen and i always will," Grande wrote in memory of Miller on Instagram, a week after his untimely death. "I can’t believe you aren’t here anymore. i really can’t wrap my head around it. we talked about this. so many times. i’m so mad, i’m so sad i don’t know what to do. you were my dearest friend. for so long. above anything else. i’m so sorry i couldn’t fix or take your pain away. i really wanted to. the kindest, sweetest soul with demons he never deserved. i hope you’re okay now. rest."

In other Mac-related news, a charity concert will be put on in his name on Halloween at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles. The show will feature performances Travis Scott, Chance The Rapper and more.
