YBN Nahmir Sets Release Date for YBN Mixtape

When you're a young, famous rapper and have to hit the road, perform and drop new music that people like, all while trying to grow up and and adjust to your new life in the public eye, life can be rough at times. Luckily for YBN Nahmir, one of the 2018 XXL Freshmen, he seems to have all three figured out, according to his Instagram video announcing the release date of the new YBN mixtape.

The collaborative effort from the crew will include new music from Nahmir, YBN Almighty Jay and YBN Cordae, among others.

In the footage on Instagram, Nahmir pulls up on a scooter bike, yelling after swerving through a parking lot during some downtime on G-Eazy's The Endless Summer Tour. He skids to a stop, alongside another member of YBN. "Nigga, Sept. 7, they already know what time it is, man," Nahmir yells with glee. "YBN mixtape droppin', you already know what time it is."

He also explains what the goal of the tape is: "We finna fuck the summer up, even though it ain't even the summer no more, damn near!"

If you aren't lucky enough to check out YBN on the previously mentioned Endless Summer Tour, which also features Ty Dolla $ign, Lil Uzi Vert, P-Lo and Murda Beatz, you can catch the crew overseas.

In a run that starts about a month from now, YBN's The European Takeover Tour goes all through Europe, starting in Antwerp, Belgium on Sept. 19 and wrapping up in Dublin, Ireland on Oct. 10. Expect to see performances of their new songs, including "Pain Away," the collab between Nahmir and YBN Cordae.
