Despite the tragic deaths Lil Peep and XXXTentacion, the two will live on through their music. It sounds like the beloved rappers have a posthumous collab that will be coming very soon.

The collab will coming out via ILoveMakonnen. On Friday (Aug. 17), the "Tuesday" rapper announced the good news via Instagram. "I am honoured to have co written this song that X was inspired to be a part of,shortly before he died," he captioned an audio clip. "Peep and I always believed that music heals and brings people together in a way nothing else can. When I heard X’s recording, talking about my dear friend Peep I could not wait any longer to share this. @lilpeep @xxxtentacion coming ASAP!!!!"

In the clip posted on Instagram, which appears to be from the studio session, XXX talks about how he and Peep should have linked up previous to his death. "If I would have known he was so cool, I would have linked up with him sooner," X says. "And its unfortunate, because it's like, yo, people die. That's when you, you know, your remorse makes you check them out."

News of the forthcoming track comes on the heels of Lil Pump also teasing an upcoming collab with XXXTentacion titled "Arms Around You."

Since Peep's death, his team has put out a decent amount of new material including the tracks "Sex With My Ex," "4 Gold Chains," "Spotlight" and more. He also has a new clothing line.
