Skinnyfromthe9 is facing some serious charges. The New Jersey rapper appears to be in major trouble after being arrested and charged with kidnapping and aggravated assault in Somerville, N.J.

The 22-year-old Skinny, born David Alex Villegas, was arrested along with his father, David Andres Villegas, his brother, Joshua Villegas and an associate, Troy Warren, reports MyCentralJersey.com.

Somerset County Prosecutor Michael H. Robertson and Somerville Police Chief Dennis Manning confirmed the charges stem from an incident that occurred on Thursday (Aug. 9). Officers received and responded to a call from the alleged victim who was located at the Villegas home in Somerville, on Davenport Street. Upon further investigation, the victim told authorities he was contacted by the Villegas brothers about taking a trip earlier that day. He was later picked up in a car which contained all four of the accused.

The victim went on the say, shortly into the trip, Skinny confiscated his cell phone and began to punch him repeatedly in the stomach. He claimed he was driven around for about an hour while also being assaulted by Warren and screamed on by the other occupants of the vehicle. They eventually returned to the Villegas home where the beating continued, the victim claims.

The four suspects were taken to Somerset County Jail. Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Unit and the Organized Crime and Narcotics Task Force Tactical Narcotics Team have gotten involved and executed search warrants on the locations where the crime allegedly took place.

Skinny made the news for another altercation back in June. In that incident, he was captured on camera fighting in a New Jersey area mall with rapper Squidnice. Just over a week ago, he dropped the video for his latest single, "Jump Out That," featuring PnB Rock.
