About a week and a half after Kodak Black's early release from jail, the rapper gets more good news. According to a report from The Blast, the 21-year-old rapper has officially been let off probation for a drug case he caught in January.

On Tuesday (Aug. 28), the celebrity news site reported that the Department of Justice has recommended that Kodak Black be let off. With that recommendation in mind, the court ended up terminating his probation.

Lil' Kodak originally caught the drug charges after police paid a visit to his Florida home more than seven months ago. After arresting him on the spot, local authorities charged the rapper with grand theft of a firearm, two charges of possession of a weapon or ammo by a Florida delinquent adult felon, possession of cannabis over 20 grams, child neglect without great bodily harm and two counts of parole violation.

In April Kodak was sentenced to one year in jail, but his time was reduced after he was given credit for previous days he spent in Broward County Jail. While behind bars, Kodak made the best of his time, earning his GED as the days passed by.

With his probation behind him, Kodak is all set to continue his music-making ways. However, his trial for criminal sexual conduct lies ahead.
